Boog is the kind of horse everyone’s searching for and very few ever find — a true, honest, been-there-done-that gelding with the kind of mind you can trust every single day. With a pedigree that goes back to High Brow Cat, he brings proven cow sense along with a rock-solid disposition. Standing 15 hands and weighing 1,125 lbs, Boog is built right and stays gentle, quiet, and consistent no matter the job. He’s absolutely safe and dependable — the definition of a solid citizen — and he gives you his best every time you swing a leg over him. He’s safe and gentle enough that we trust him to carry our three-year-old granddaughter around, which says everything about his character. Boog is extremely measured about where he puts his feet, whether you’re on the trail, on the ranch, or in the arena — he’s got your back and is thoughtful in everything he does, helping his rider in all situations. As seen in the video links posted not much phases him. He travels out with a smooth gait, carries a nice topline, neck reins one-handed, and has easy, correct transitions. Boog has seen the world — he’s been to rodeos, through town, and has miles under him in the Montana mountains. He’s been ranched off of, carried flags, hog hunted, and there’s truly not much he hasn’t experienced. He’s an absolute pleasure to have in our barn and a joy to use on the ranch — great for roping and sorting, solid on the trails, and handy enough to drag calves to the fire without hesitation. Boog is the kind you can trust with anyone and enjoy every ride on — whether it’s a long day’s work or a quiet cruise, he’s the same dependable partner every time.
